Evaluation Criteria for ASP.Net Development
Microsoft's Active Server Pages, or ASP, technology is used to develop interactive websites on the internet. The technology being ASP.net focuses on allowing developers to create dynamic websites that are able to relay and store information through the internet as well as interface with database structures to create an end product. This technology is used in websites ranging from E-Commerce to corporate websites based on providing information to the consumer.
Our evaluation criteria focuses on the aspects of ASP.NET development that are important to quality application development and design. We compare each company to its competition and use evaluation criteria that zero in on the different aspects that both customers and developers look for in a great ASP.NET development company.
The first aspect of our evaluation focuses on code quality. We assess the complexity and the functionality of the web applications being developed. Is the code free of bugs and other problems that could hinder the operation of the website?
Next we review the code security. Is the code free of defects and security holes that allow for malicious code to be injected into a website?
Then we contact past and present clients of each vendor to obtain evaluations about their experiences with the vendor in regard to the services being provided. We evaluate this based on their competition to get a better feel for the vendor's capabilities to provide quality services to their clients.
Integration is another important aspect of web development that we review. Does the vendor help clients use the code on their servers and take advantage of the features that have been built into them?
Lastly, client support is evaluated through our contact with both past and present clients of the vendor to gauge the quality of their support services and how quick they are able to resolve the issues of their clients.
