Job Description:

POSITION OBJECTIVE:
The Designer, Web will support the marketing objectives by following through with the creative design and production of marketing projects based on established web schedules. The Designer, Web is instrumental in building and maintaining brand integrity through consistent direction and design. This requires a high level of design expertise in web marketing, along with strong vendor communication skills, an eye for detail and close attention to timelines.      
 
FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
·         Understand current direction and help drive creative for website.
·         Meet with Creative Director on a regular basis to understand and formulate brand direction.
·         Manipulate photography-color correct, resize & retouch.
·         Maintain website through weekly updates.
·         Design new conceptual animation pages in Flash while preserving brand identity.
·         Establish and maintain the relationships of assigned projects to the overall brand strategy
and marketing calendar.
·         Ensure brand individuality, excitement, impact and accuracy in all marketing materials.
·         Adhere to demands of the production schedule. Be aware of release schedule and devote time necessary to meet deadlines.
·         Keep open communication with outside services as well as support positions at HQ.
·         Attend weekly conference-call production and art review meetings with NY and HQ offices.

QUALIFICATIONS:

    BFABA required in graphic design or a related field.
    A minimum of two to three years of Web Design experience preferred.
    Strong knowledge of HTML & XML
    Excellent knowledge of collateral & marketing design, with specialization in web design.

    Mac proficiency and fluency in the following programs:

o        QuarkXPress
o        Adobe Photoshop
o        Adobe Illustrator
o        Adobe Image-Ready
o        Macromedia Flash
o        Macromedia Dreamweaver
