Sales Engineer - Systems Engineer - PreSales Engineer - SharePoint
Are you a motivated and successful sales engineer with 2 years of experience supporting enterprise level software solutions?
Have you worked with SharePoint solutions or portalcollaborative solutions?

We are an enterprise software firm that specializes in solutions for the latest generation of Microsoft Sharepoint products. We have experienced tremendous expansion and growth in the past few years with office across the US and internationally.
Due to our growth, we are currently looking for a stellar sales engineer to expand our team in the New YorkNew Jersey area. You will be the key technical point of contact for our inside and enterprise sales groups. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background as well as the ability to clearly communicate and present to clients!
What are we looking for?
- 2 years of experience in a sales engineering or systems engineering capacity
- Must have a bachelor's degree IT, Computer Science, Engineering preferred
- Strong understanding of Microsoft SharePoint
- Must be able to install, configure, and maintain Windows Server 200020032008, IIS and SQL server.
- Working knowledge of SQL Server 2000, 2005 and 2008
Some nice to haves:
- Working knowledge of TCPIP, DHCP, DNS
- Working knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, SMTP, and DHCP technologies
- Experience performing production updates in a 247 environment
- Technical knowledge of current software protocols and Internet standards
- Competence with testing, flowcharts, and data mapping tools and procedures
What will you be doing?
- This is a consultative prepost sales engineering role where you will be working with the sales teams to present and demonstrate our product solutions to our enterprise clients.
- Propose and design technical solutions which include creative prototypes and proof of concept
- Become an expert in the features and benefits of our applications
- Act as the customer advocate and liaison for product management and development
- Deliver web based training sessions to clients
