Seeking a well-qualified software programmeranalyst that will support a restricted program opening in the Washington, DC area.
Would be responsible for providing application programming support to the Chief information officer CIO through a broad range of Microsoft technology-based application development and maintenance.

Required Skills

Current SSBI Investigation neededrequired.

Specific skills in the following areas:

Developing cienstom Microsoft technology-based applications or modify applications for Microsoft Windows XP and Server 2003 specifically Active Directory applications.
Support for application development efforts shall include requirements analysis system design and development of prototypes for integration and installation within existing IT systems.

Developing custom web based applications using Ruby on Rails, VB NET, Java, Web 2.0, custom scripting, XML, Digital Signatures, etc.

Designing user interfaces to test applications assuring software and system quality and functionality.
Develop test plans and support documentation as necessary to deploy new software applications.
Conduct installation and system modifications required for implementing, application changes at various remote sites.
Perform off-line tests and evaluations of IT concepts, new technologies, operating systems.

Application Maintenance and IT Support:

Maintain custom Microsoft technology-based applications. Application maintenance includes modifying existing office applications to automate certain office processes by writing, debugging and maintaining code changes to application macros, integrating hardware, software, and database components

. Database Applications,Tower TRIM Support,Visual Studio 2005,Microsoft SQL Server 2005,User help desk applications
. Primary support liaison for Web based applications
. Ad hoc support,Assist customer in life-cycle hardware and software upgrades,Ability to provide Level II help desk support as necessary,Flexibility to balance several tasks at once.

Desired Skills

At least 5-6 years of recent software programming experience required

Education

Bachelor's in Computer Science essential with emphasis in software programming.
